As a Credit Analyst, you will monitor the fiscal side of our bustling urban playground, considering regulatory issues while you balance the needs of several departments. PRIMARY JOB DUTIES:

Duties include, but are not limited, to the following:

  • Generate and review daily guest arrival report to perform credit evaluation updates as required.
  • Maintain and update credit information for guest to ensure credit issuances are used accordingly.
  • Prepare and scan all financial documents obtained and used to support the credit decision.
  • Read & reviews consumer reports, Central credit, and bank rating reports, to ensure timely transmission of credit decisions to appropriate entities.
  • Assist cashiers with any credit-related questions or issues.
  • Ensure the integrity of all financial data produced under his/her span of control.
  • Ensure the Credit Department is in full compliance with all required completed forms, internal system checks and inquires which satisfy an audit trail, for the initial issuance/extension of credit limits or TTO’s.
  • Maintain process for issuing and maintaining casino credit to qualified guests.
  • Field incoming Central Credit calls for guest status updates from other Casino’s.
  • Works closely with the Credit Manager to ensure credit issuance procedure are aligned with property business goals.
  • Properly dispose of sensitive information and perform other duties as required by senior management.
  • Pull daily Central credit and internal RRC report return list and determine what action to take and notify guest host.
  • Other duties as assign.

Requirements:

QUALIFICATIONS:

Required:

  • At least one year of Casino Credit experience
  • At least two years of work experience in credit operations or related area
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate in English
  • Must have or be able to obtain a Gaming LVMPD work card
  • Polished appearance and demeanor
  • At least 21 years of age
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to obtain and maintain full knowledge and understanding of company and department rules and regulations, policies and procedures.

Preferred:

  • At least six months experience with Central Credit.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Previous experience in a large, luxury resort setting.

  • Constant contact with executives, department management, applicants, employees and guests is necessary.
  • Prolonged sitting or standing and mobility.
  • Bending and reaching.
  • Transporting, pushing, pulling, and maneuvering items weighing up to 25 lbs.
  • Eye/hand coordination.
  • Use of standard office equipment.
  • Requires basic math.
  • Ability to push and/or pull file cabinet drawers weighing up to 5 lbs.
  • Ability to distinguish letters, numbers and symbols.
  • Ability to comply with Policies and Procedures, Job Description, daily memorandums, chemical labels (MSDS) and other instructions.
