RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client that is seeking a Call Center Customer Service Representative for a Disaster Relief call center. This is a work from home position that has various start dates throughout September. This is a temporary – 3-4 month contract (Could be longer depending on Call Center Demand). This is a 40 hour per week Call Center Customer Service Representative role.
Responsibilities of a Customer Service Representative:

  • Customer Service Representative will be assisting people who have experienced a disaster and resolving their issues
  • You’ll complete an on-line customer service training prior to taking calls
  • Respond to incoming service calls regarding disaster relief assistance information & next steps
  • Customer Service Representative will identify, evaluate, and prioritize end-user issues to ensure that inquiries are successfully resolved
  • Document conversations and capture information
  • Adhere to established levels of service
  • Customer Service Representative will adhere to established customer service and documentation standards within required time frames

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Agent, ideally in a call center or help desk environment
  • Strong customer service skills (call center, retail, hospitality industry, etc.)
  • Clear verbal & written communication skills
  • Must be proficient in use of computers, i.e., basic computer functions, including proficiency in Office 365, internet access
  • Ideally experience in using a ticketing system
  • Reliable High-speed Internet
  • Minimum 20 Mbps Download and 5 Mbps Upload
  • Candidate must have their own headset with microphone
