In the frame of a reorganization, we are merging our procurement, logistic, export resources into one department, and are offering the position as head of this department. This position reports to a member of the Managing Board.

Detailed job description

Responsible for the strategic and operative procurement and logistics of ANDRITZ Hydro Switzerland

Management of the Procurement, Logistics & Export department for international projects

Responsible for the procurement of electromechanical components for hydropower plant equipment

Responsible of all import, export, and cross trade transport logistics, incl. shipping, export control, document management, custom clearance, warehousing

Provide optimized concepts for procurement, logistics and insurances of such at bid stage of new contracts and further on during contract execution

Assist with all commercial, financial, tax, insurance and legal issues for all projects with customers, consortium members and/or third parties

Candidate's profile

Master's degree in International Commerce, or commercial / technical education supplemented by a post-graduate specialization in the field of supply chain management (export, logistics, procurement)

Several years of experience in a similar position in a Swiss / International industry environment, and as forwarder or purchaser

Solid background in DG/ADR/RID/IMDG, excellent INCOTERMS ® 2010 knowledge

Strong interest for technical products

Strong leadership, interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills

Responsible, structured and analytical personality

Fluent in English and French, good command in German
