Requirements:

As our chosen Compliance Specialistyou will be working remotely. Under the direct supervision of the Director of Compliance the Compliance Specialist you will review and approve new resident applications and assist with all compliance-related issues throughout our national portfolio.

To thrive in this role:

Three to Five years in affordable housing compliance and experience in Project Based Section 8, LIHTC, Bond and USDA Rural Development.

Affordable Housing Compliance Certifications highly preferred. Assisted Housing Manager (AHM), Certified Professional of Occupancy (CPO), Certified Occupancy Specialist (COS) and Tax Credit Specialist (TCS). Additional Industry certifications will be considered.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Excellent organizational skills and attention to details.

Ability to handle pressure due to complexity and time sensitivity.

Highly motivated and able to work independently.

Bonus Skills

Yardi or Manage America Experience
