Position Overview:

As a Corporate Support Manager for CrossCountry Mortgage, LLC, this individual will be responsible for the daily operations of the assigned territory of mortgage office staff and maintaining an efficient workflow for the branch’s loan pipeline. This position will provide and manage support for our Branches. Including but not limited to general loan questions, assistance with escalations (working with the appropriate departments), pipeline and production review, etc.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Understand assigned territory branch needs and develop plans to address them.
  • Resolve branch complaints in a prompt and professional manner.
  • Manage a team of Loan support specialists and production/pipeline manager(s).
  • Manage loan support ticket queue to maintain established Service Level Agreements.
  • Mentor and develop the loan support and production/pipeline managers within their team.
  • Participate in one-on-one meetings with branch managers or branch operations. Managers to improve workflow and resolve issues.
  • Monitor and follow up with branch employees to maintain the proper workflow.
  • Ensure each file complies with all corporate and regulatory policies and procedures.
  • Develop, review, and recommend overall operational systems and procedures for the mortgage lending function.
  • Develop new methods and procedures to increase daily operations efficiency.
  • Manage projects for deployment of new systems and procedures.
  • Maintain broad knowledge and thorough understanding of applicable federal, state and agency regulations and guidelines.
  • Develop and maintain an effective organization through the selection, training, compensation, motivation, and review of branch employees.
  • Guide and direct employees to assist their professional development.
  • Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly production and compliance reports.
  • Work closely with our Operations Initiatives team, for workflow and system enhancements.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years’ experience in Operations, Processing, or Underwriting.
  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years’ management experience.
  • Strategic understanding of the mortgage lending function.
  • Experience with Encompass LOS system preferred.
  • Strong analytical, judgment and managerial skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, and customer service skills.
  • Strong knowledge of processing, closing, and funding loans in accordance with Investors and Agency guidelines including federal and State required practices.
  • Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
  • Problem-solving attitude.
  • Detail-oriented and strong organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt to a rapidly changing federal and state regulatory environment.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong knowledge of FNMA, FHA, GNMA and VA housing loans.
