Modernizing Medicine is seeking a Data Conversion Specialist who will plan, direct, and coordinate all activities of designated projects to ensure that project goals are accomplished within specified time frame.
Your Role:
- Ability to work on multiple data conversion projects at a time.
- Plan, direct, and coordinate all activities of designated projects to ensure that project goals are accomplished within specified time frame.
- Document all progress related to the project using all applicable tools (Salesforce, Wiki, etc.).
- Obtain information from customers and vendors as necessary to perform a data conversion project.
- Direct and coordinate the activities of project personnel (both internal and external) to ensure project progress on schedule.
- Coordinate meetings and conference calls with Stakeholders to streamline the project.
- Perform all data conversion activities and tasks (crosswalks and data mapping activities) necessary to ensure the data is imported accurately.
- Initiate application upgrades with appropriate parties when necessary to complete the data conversion project.
- Communicate with customers undergoing implementations to clarify new cases, follow up on open cases, monitor progress and ensure satisfaction.
- Verify that implemented solutions meet customer expectations.
- Provide post-live support for designated period of time followed by a transition to Client Services.
- Maintain certification in appropriate Modernizing Medicine applications.
Skills & Requirements:
- Exceptional written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills required.
- Experience with ASCII delimited text, XML, JSON and CSV files.
- Strong knowledge and experience with Excel.
- Ability to effectively manage time and competing priorities.
- Must have experience in developing and integrating business processes.
- Knowledge of data manipulation required.
- Knowledge of clinical workflow and operations preferred.
- Critical thinking and deductive reasoning skills.
- Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Must be available to work flexible schedule including evenings, nights, and weekends.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
