Date Entry

We are a small independently owned optometry practice located inside of Costco. We are looking to add a part time data entry associate to our team! We need coverage 2 weekdays plus Saturday’s (required) with possible fill in if another staff member is on vacation, out sick, etc. We currently have 5 Optometrists at this location, 2 of which are here every day. We currently do not offer any health benefits. Paid holidays and 401k will be offered after 1 year of employment. We are flexible with scheduling and time off request. We are looking for a compassionate person with a strong customer service background. You must love working with people and be genuinely positive and enthusiastic. Because we are a small practice, most staff are cross trained within the office. Therefore, we need someone who is a quick learner, can multi-task, & is willing to jump in and help whenever the need arises.

Our doctor’s uphold a high standard for patient care & needs a optometric technician/receptionist who is detail oriented, can be challenged and is eager to learn. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Computer based tasks-Entering patient demographic information, creating patient charts, posting payments, creating receipts, verifying insurance benefits and submitting insurance claims.
• Phone based tasks- No answering phones needed at this time.
• Light office cleaning, disinfecting equipment.

Experience in a healthcare office setting is preferred, but not required. We are willing to train someone with a personable, positive attitude. The ideal candidate will be able to multi-task, have clear communication skills, and be proficient on the computer.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $14.00 – $15.00 per hour
