POSITION SUMMARY
The Sterile Technician at Burns Dentistry is a key member of the team, working closely with our dentists and assistants to ensure a dynamic and memorable patient experience. This role is responsible for organizing and preparing the treatment room, instruments and materials. The Sterile Technician is the key to keeping the office immaculate and sanitary to ensure our patient’s health.

PERFORMANCE OBJECTIVES
- Maintain dental instruments, supplies and equipment inventory, and other ancillary duties
- Prepare dental materials, operatories and equipment for the scheduled treatments
- Operate, monitor, and maintain sterilization equipment
- Comply with and share the implementation of all safety, sterilization and infection control requirements
- Proactively support team members and pods

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED) (Required)
- General Dentistry knowledge (Preferred)
- Ability to pass a criminal background check (Required)
- Dental experience (Preferred)
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Requires the ability to sit, stand, and walk for prolonged periods of time
- Requires ability to occasionally lift up to 25lbs
- Position may require travel to and from field sites to monitor the status of multiple projects
