We are seeking an experienced Disaster Recovery Grant Reporting System Support Staff. The Disaster Recovery Grant Reporting will be responsible for the assisting in developing, maintaining, and managing the State’s Disaster Recovery Grant Reporting system for the agency in accordance with the State’s Action Plan

Title: Disaster Recovery Grant Reporting System Support Staff

Location: Durham, NC

Work Schedule: Business hours 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Eastern Time

Responsibilities:

· The Support Staff must have knowledge and understanding of the Disaster Recovery Grant Reporting system with the ability to revise the existing North Carolina Disaster Recovery Grant Reporting Action Plan and budget. The Staff member shall generate and submit quarterly performance reports for review

· Assisting in the distribution of Disaster Recovery Grant Reporting access across the agency’s staff as requested

· Developing best practices and process flow charts for reimbursement packet review, draw request review, and check processing and disbursement that ensure proper quality control, meet Housing and Urban Development ’s requirements for documentation, and meet the agency’s directed ongoing timelines for draw request review and payment

· Developing Quarterly Progress Reports (QPR’s) for State staff review

· Providing in-depth ongoing training to State staff on 2 CFR Part 200 and all Housing and Urban Development and federal cross-cutting regulations required for establishing systems and process flow charts that will meet Housing and Urban Development compliance

· Providing guidance on NC’s policies and procedures for reimbursement request review regarding Housing and Urban Development guidelines, and help in the revision of existing draw procedures

· Producing draw-down requests for review and approval in Disaster Recovery Grant Reporting

· Providing technical assistance and training to the agencies on the requirements for use of Disaster Recovery Grant Reporting

· Providing the agency or the Department of Public Safety (DPS), with financial procedural support related to processing, reviewing, and drawing reimbursement requests through Disaster Recovery Grant Reporting

· Providing training to state, contract, or local staff

· Assisting with other program needs, if requested

Requirements:

Note: Candidates who do not have the mandatory skills will not be considered

· Minimum of three years direct experience in Disaster Recovery Grant Reporting management and/or Community Development Block Grant -DR financial management

· Demonstrated expertise in DRGR Action Plan development

· Experience in producing Quarterly Performance Reports, or a combination of skills and experience

Pay: $19.00 – $28.00 per hour
