Entry-Level Software Engineer

Description: The entry-level software engineer collaborates with senior and mid-level software engineers to test, develop, and update software applications and programs. They will have the opportunity to understand the company code base and further enhance their programming abilities, as well as develop their careers by working on advanced projects with state-of-the-art solutions. The entry-level software engineer works in a team environment and performs development and testing of software components while maintaining quality and security. The ideal applicant has experience working with high-level languages (e.g., C, C++, Python) and is familiar with Agile development principles. The entry-level software engineer collaborates with program technical leads for developing innovative solutions and delivering best-in-class capabilities and solutions.
Requirements:

• U.S. Citizenship
• Ability to gain Top-Secret (TS) Clearance with Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) Eligibility
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, and/or Physics or another related field
• Relevant experience working on team projects
• Must be self-motivated and have a demonstrated history of working independently
• Demonstrate a growth mindset and exhibit a highly collaborative workstyle

Preferred Skills:

Knowledge of, and experience with digital signal processing; knowledge of Synthetic Aperture Radar algorithms or target tracking algorithms is a bonus

• Some experience in software development using high-level language; C is preferred
• Familiarity with test-driven software development, DevOps, or Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery
• Some experience using modeling and analysis tools such as Matlab
• Familiarity working with Git version control
