Finance Project Manager, M&A

Meta is seeking to fill a position within the Finance Transformation Project Management Organization focused on M&A Finance integration. This individual will support the deal life-cycle from diligence and integration planning through post-close execution. This space is known to be fast-paced and as such we are seeking an energetic, self-motivated, and solution-focused individual that can collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders at all levels. This individual will be responsible for planning and leading finance integration activities while partnering with key stakeholders across the entire integration organization. An ability to plan, execute effectively, and pivot along the way will be critical to achieving success in this role. Equally important will be the ability to motivate and influence without authority, while building relationships among the integration stakeholders as you collaborate towards achieving a common goal.
Finance Project Manager, M&A Responsibilities:
- Leading the E2E finance integration process both strategically and tactically, as the primary POC for all finance tracks
- Creating the finance integration plan, organizing Day 1 activities, and executing the ongoing integration activities through plan completion
- Managing and executing the finance communication strategy, tools, and cadence for project planning, status readouts and updates
- Coordinating the finance due diligence team activities and communicating all findings and impacts with Corporate Development Integration
- adapting the integration plan as necessary
- Leading the transitional finance activities around treasury, payroll and procurement
- Building and cultivating strong relationships with integration stakeholders at all levels (Accounting, Tax, Treasury, Payroll, Procurement, People Operations, Tech, Facilities, etc.)
- Lead Finance workstream meetings and collaborate with stakeholders on making key decision and/or taking key actions to moving the integration forward
- Understanding and managing Finance handoffs and dependencies
- Managing multiple integrations concurrently while also assisting in building out the Finance integration toolset (e.g. playbooks, process flows, work plans)
- Proactively identify integration areas for improvement and take these opportunities to collaborate in designing solutions and updating our toolset and processes
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 6+ years of combined experience as a project manager or leading consulting projects
- Track record of managing cross functional teams
