Hospital Cleaner | Environmental Services

Up to $24.50/hour* | Part-time 32 hours per two weeks | 6:00AM to 2:30PM | Includes every third weekend and holiday rotation

Job Summary:

Cleaners (Environmental Services Associates) lower infection risks by cleaning and sanitizing all areas of our hospital. They also ensure everybody’s safety by making sure hazards are removed from hallways. This work creates a warm and inviting experience for everybody at CentraCare – Melrose.

What we’re really looking for is someone driven to serve, who finds satisfaction in knowing the impact that their work has on others. Commercial cleaning experience helpful, but not required.

• Must Function independently, have flexibility, personal integrity, and ability to work effectively with patient and /or patient families, personnel, medical staff and general public.

*Accelerated rate requirements : To be eligible for the accelerated rate you must be an external candidate who is hired into an eligible position. By accepting the accelerated rate, you will forego benefits, including paid time off, medical, and dental insurance, retirement and more. This is a temporary rate and position that will last for 12 months or less. Previous employees qualify if they have not worked for CentraCare/Carris for at least 9 months at the date of hire. The accelerated rate cannot be combined with other pay programs to include sign-on bonuses, relocation assistance
