We are a fun, fast growing company with over 70 people and expect to top 90 by the end of the year. It is finally time for an HR coordinator to take over payroll, hiring, insurance, etc. We have a great group of people with a fun, casual culture. We run online company swag stores for companies all over the country and embroider, screen print, laser etch at our facility in Tempe, AZ. This is an on-site job.

This job is ideal for someone who is/has:

Qualities for success:

  • Experience as an HR Coordinator or relevant Human Resources/Administrative position - not a specialist, but someone who can do payroll, employee on-boarding, insurance and more.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus
  • CIPD certification is an advantage
  • Must have worked with an ERP accounting system before.
  • Microsoft Dynamics General Plains (GP) experience a plus.
  • Knowledge of Human Resources processes and best practices.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive data with confidentiality.

Responsibilities:

  • Process 6-8 payrolls a month for two companies with a combined total of 75 employees (and growing).
  • Process employee expense reimbursements.
  • Process and maintain employee requests for vacation and sick time.
  • Review Payroll Benefit invoices for accuracy.
  • Update and maintain the company employee handbook.
  • Oversee HR related training classes.
  • Post job ads and assist with scheduling and interviewing.
  • Onboard new employees.
  • Manage employee benefits, including Open Enrollment and educating employees understand 401k, HSA, and healthcare plans. Source new healthcare plans.
  • Keep the office organized and running efficiently, order office supplies and schedule repairs as needed.
