Import/Export Specialist

Responsibilities:

• Manage and complete export licenses and documentation for ICPMS equipment for foreign shipments
• Shipping cost control
• Freight forwarding to reduce costs
• Assist warehouse management (Ft. Calhoun) and production planning coordination
• Stock locations
• Maintain inventory
• Create and document processes and SOPs

Qualifications:

• Prefer practical experience or a background in Business Administration and Material

Management

• Experience in Inventory Control, Materials Management and Supply Chain in a manufacturing environment, US Customs Regulations, FDA, DEA and USDA regulations
• Knowledge of US/Foreign import/export procedures
• Strong computer knowledge
• Ability to work closely and communicate with management to solve problems
• Write clear and concise analytical reports
• Organized, driver, self-starter and decisive
• Ability to solve US Customs issues
• Ability to review and analyze data to identify potential deviations or errors and propose corrective actions
