POSITION SUMMARY

Velocity Global is seeking an IT Support Intake specialist to join our growing team. You’ll be one of our main points of communication, assigning tickets and coordinating onboardings. We’re not just looking for another techie; we’re looking for someone who wants to learn and grow with us.

This IT Support Intake specialist requires someone who is dedicated and pays attention to detail. This is a fast-paced role, requiring the ability to operate independently. You will be part of a bigger team, helping to coordinate work across many time zones and ensuring our user’s needs are met.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Categorize, prioritize, and assign tickets to the appropriate technical support representative.

  • Coordinate the setup of new users and offboarding of old users.

  • Communicate with outside partners on orders and update the support team.

  • Provide process improvements to the ticket intake, onboarding, and offboarding processes.

  • Ability to perform inventory and properly track our equipment.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Exceptional people, communication, and time management skills.
  • 1 year of experience working with a ticketing system.
  • Ability to properly categorize and prioritize tickets.
  • Great communication skills and the ability to articulate issues.
