Loan Compliance Analyst

The Convey Account Manager owns a portfolio of clients and is responsible for finding the resolution to ensure that FHA properties can be transferred back to HUD. The CAM will analyze loan histories and work closely with their clients and network of contractors to resolve any barriers to the transition of property ownership.
Responsibilities and Expectations
- Management of quality and compliance for portfolios of loans
- Making decisions for maintaining loan portfolios while adhering to client and investor requirements for pricing and task execution.
- Handling client phone calls that are on a scheduled cadence and those that come up unscheduled. For scheduled calls
- Providing details on loan portfolios as part of a pre-call agenda to assist with fostering a constructive call.
- Maintaining notes during calls to ensure discussions are documented and deliverables are met.
- Sending follow-up with confirmation of deliverables being completed from the call.
- Ability to think on your feet as questions arise and comfortability with knowing when something requires additional research prior to answering.
- Ability to stick to commitments and communicate delays in advance.
- There will be interaction with client and investor systems. All information requires a high level of confidentiality.
- Ability to navigate through Excel is necessary, as client interaction and workload distribution involves use of the program.
- Ability to negotiate with confidence.
- Ability to review a loan history and create a chronology of notes hitting important milestones to support property condition and actions taken to preserve.

Qualifications and Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalency required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 3-5 years applicable experience preferred
- Construction background or experience preferred, but not required
- Demonstrates effective oral and written communication
- Proficiency in MS Office applications strongly preferred
- Ability to manage competing priorities and responsibilities
- Ability to navigate through multiple computer applications simultaneously
- Demonstrates continuous follow-up capability
