Member Advocate 3 (Call Center)

In this role, you will be an expert on DECU products and services and will proactively match our members’ needs. You will exercise sound, independent judgement, ensuring all processes are accurate and complete and be a trusted financial partner.
You will be empowered to address member concerns, inquiries or complaints with limited guidance. You will also complete loan applications accurately and thoroughly, communicate with your underwriter and then communicate that loan decision to member while disbursing loan products timely. In order to be successful, you will need to conduct consultative interviews with members to acquire, retain and deepen member relationships. You will seek outside the box member solutions and determine credit worthiness while reducing credit union risk.
These are just a few things you will be doing as a Member Advocate 3. We do require you have at least one year of customer service experience as well as problem solving experience. Excellent communication skills is a must and sales experience is preferable.
