Shipping – work with a variety of domestic warehouses on a daily basis; schedule and negotiate shipments with trucking companies or brokers; issue and follow up on outbound release orders and correspond with customers, carriers, brokers and warehouse personnel; track orders; provide updates and collect PODs; look for new cost effective carriers; ship in cost effective manners; look for economical, warehousing and distribution solutions; think creatively and outside the box
Inventory, Customer Orders and Relationships – must be comfortable with managing inventory, able to distinguish what material to ship in a cost and time effective manner in order to meet our customers’ requirements; Monitoring inbound material arrival in coordination with outgoing customer orders; Coordinate and talk to customers and other business associates and build relationships.
Warehouses – monitoring activity, ins and outs and cross checking the material with the paperwork, managing overtime fees and labor charges and special work orders to make sure we are being billed properly and that material ships properly.
Manage Credits to customers and Claims to carriers and suppliers accurately
Assist the General Manager, Owner and Colleagues as needed.
Assist with Daily Tasks

-They are honest, straight forward and can fulfill their job as needed.
-Being in a small company we help each other out and have the mentality where we support each other in work and do not leave until the job is done.
-We also do things and help out with items that could be considered “beyond our job role” on paper. Including things like assisting the owner with her various non-business tasks, coordinating travel plans, managing her house keeper, shipping chemical samples, helping collect the mail and ship packages at the office, general office and storage room cleaning, etc.
-There is no corporate politics or corporate agenda, we are a small family type atmosphere.
-We are a few people with a lot to do and sometimes the work can seem a little overwhelming. You have deadlines and sometimes lots of pressure. You need to manage your time and work properly together as a team.
