Enriching Life.Position SummaryIndividual contributor completing standard and non-routine business processes to support Sales and branch operations ensuring that customer contracts, billing, invoicing and issues of any administrative nature are resolved in a timely fashion. This role can support various and multiple business units and is critical to ensure proper documentation, payment and resolution of customer issues.Core Responsibilities and Tasks- Scheduling chemical deliveries, routing and dispatching trucks
- Processing chemical sales orders in SAP
- Providing backup coverage to other branch customer service support
- Creating quotes, Bill of Ladings, sales orders and invoices in SAP
- Input of delivery information in SAM - our custom database center (training provided)
- Monitoring tank levels on Link2Site
- Working with Logistics Coordinator on Trucking costs – internal and external
- Completing requisitions in SAP
- Responsible for tracking and monitoring rail car activity
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent plus 2 years of applicable work experience OR Bachelors degree with demonstrated capability in comparable work
Required:
- Experienced in logistics.
- Able to executive tasks medium levels of autonomy; limited guidance required for complex tasks
- Able to collaborate with other disciplines
- Ability to understand concepts in execution and strong organization skills;
- Understanding of general business concepts
- Strong communication skills
- Solid User of standard Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- SAP fluency in relevant area of expertise (e.g. SD, CS, CM module)
- Basic understanding of typical IT business tools
- Basic understanding of Field Service and CRM application like (MS Field Service or MS CRM)
