Our international client is a leading source of data and intelligence to the Alternative Asset Management/Investment Banking industry. Their leading service helps companies of all sizes address complex and often strategic issues through providing data and information on Private Equity, Real Estate, Hedge Funds and Private Debt. Due to continued growth, they now have an exciting opening for a Pre-Sales Specialist to be based in or near Chicago.
  
As a Pre-Sales Specialist, you will:  

  • Backstop the Sales Team and provide supplemental in-depth product demonstrations
  • Manage proofs-of-concept and provide training for prospects/clients
  • Exceed annual targets
  • Work with sales colleagues to actively grow and manage opportunities
  • Work with sales, client services, account management and the executive team to scope complex and strategic sales opportunities
  • Effectively gather prospect and customer technical requirements
  • Provide technical account management assistance to sales and account managers
  • Provide guidance and oversight direct to the client
  • Assist product development and marketing groups with product requirements definition, product launches and go-to-market initiatives

Pre-Sales Specialist applications are invited from candidates with the following skills and traits:  

  • Degree educated
  • 4+ years pre-sales / client-facing sales experience
  • Technical Account Management experience, a plus
  • Software-as-a-Service (SaaS), CRM’s, financial services or data experience is advantageous
  • Selling/supporting SaaS
  • Customer centric
  • Can-do, problem-solving mentality

The successful candidate can expect:  

  • A base salary of 130k
  • A first-year achievable OTE of 150k uncapped
