Project Coordinator

Sun Valley Builders is a K-12 & Higher Education Commercial General Contractor and is looking for a Project Coordinator with excellent organizational and computer skills who thrives in a team environment.

To be successful as a Project Coordinator, candidates should be professional, polite, and attentive while also being accurate. They should always be prepared and responsive, willing to meet each challenge directly. Most importantly, Construction Project Coordinators should have a genuine desire to meet the needs of our clients and deliver the Sun Valley Builders experience on every project.

Primary Responsibilities

Ability to take direction and assist the Project Team

Responsible for assisting Project Estimators with receiving subcontractor bids and maintaining an accurate subcontractor bid list.

Ability to coordinate remodel and new construction projects including submittals, RFI's, Change Orders, and Closeout Documents.

Ability to read plans and specifications

Ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously

Ability to maintain required permits for construction projects

Basic Qualifications

5+ years of commercial construction coordination

Successful candidates will have some college experience

Organization skills that prove your ability to meet deadlines in a timely fashion

Collaborative approach in delivering results

Software Experience

Viewpoint Spectrum, Viewpoint One (construction software)

Office 365 (Outlook, Excel, Word, Etc.)

Desired Qualifications

Desire to grow and learn (promotion and career growth are encouraged)

Experience with Job Order Contracting Methods of Approach.
