This 100+ bed Hospital has built a strong reputation in the Greater Seattle Area for excellent patient care and outstanding services. It offers inpatient and outpatient services for a variety of mental health disorders including PTSD, depression, postpartum depression, anxiety, and more. It also treats substance abuse disorders such as abusing recreational drugs, alcohol, and prescription drugs. The facility that has been a staple of the community for years, and the incoming Psychiatric RN will play a large role in keeping it that way.
The Psychiatric Registered Nurse RN reports to the Psych Charge Nurse and is supported by a wonderful team of Psych Nurses and Certified Nursing Assistants. The Psychiatric Nursing team is highly experienced and well-trained in patient care. The specialty trained nurses and physicians are prepared to support and treat a wide range of medical and psychiatric needs. The Psych Nurse will perform assessment, develop a plan of care, administer medications, provide patient education, and collaborate with a variety of healthcare team members.
The Greater Seattle Area is famous for many reasons – you can check out Pike’s Place Market, the Seattle Art Museum, and the Seattle Symphony, all in a day’s walk. This is a day shift position. Night shift also available. RNs with psych experience will earn quick interviews. Nurses with SNF experience will also be considered.
