The Affinity Payroll Team supports our PL payroll deduct program, including customer support of current clients, new client implementation, and client maintenance. The team also supports new initiative products, such as group A&H, Pet, and Care by Volvo.
In this role you will provide customer service to internal and external stakeholder groups. You will use analytical skills to work through production billing and remittance issues and inquiries that are received through multiple channels including the Affinity Billing Support email box as well as through phone calls. You will use problem solving skills to help drive process improvements on the team. This role will have a strong focus on reducing the volume of payments on hand and aging bills. Critical thinking, written/oral/interpersonal communication, organization, and big picture thinking are desired skills for this role.
**This is a range grade 11-13 posting. Candidates will be considered at the appropriate grade level depending upon qualifications.

Customer Experience: This role will lead the team to help support the billing & remittance processes for our PI Payroll Team. There is a strong focus on the customer experience. Responding to and leading/collaborating with our managers, employees and external customers/vendors/stakeholders on various requests and inquiries on a daily basis. Prepare, review & analyze data for input into financial systems. Prepare, review and analyze financial transactions such as payment remittance detail or input of refund/reclass transactions, monthly reconciliations, and other data for various operating reports. Maintain and communicate logs for recording and tracking transactions. Review and validate data elements according to policy for accuracy and for compliance with internal policies. Lead various projects for the team; including assisting with successful prioritization of system fixes/enhancements, identifying automation opportunities, etc. An analytical mindset, strength in “big picture thinking”, and the ability to adapt to change are key skillsets for success in this role.
