Summary/Objective:

You will report to the Recovery Advocate Shift Lead or Recovery Advocate Coordinator and will interact with senior and clinical management of the facility. Your chief responsibilities will be to assist the staff in the management and execution of the daily schedule and coordination/facilitation of patient needs. You will sometimes facilitate 12-Step lectures and group discussions and will be directly involved in monitoring and mentoring the clients. At times you will also be maintaining files, facilitating and coordinating off-facility activity such as driving clients to medical and other appointments, making airport runs, etc., as well as assisting in the admission/intake process, and other aspects of the client’s experience at Origins. Be familiar with all Origins staff members, programs and properties.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Act as a Liaison between clients and staff and relay pertinent client information, including observations, to appropriate Clinical/Medical Staff.
  • Supervise daily client operations and always act in a manner sensitive to their needs and best interest.
  • Ensure client work ethic is completed.
  • Participate in intake and discharge process of clients.
  • Administration of drug screens.
  • Provide thorough, accurate, and timely documentation of any services delivered to clients.
  • Assist clients with transportation needs.
  • Maintain the safety of the clients and the security of the facility.
  • Communicate and set limits with culturally diverse clients.
  • Must maintain off the clock boundaries. Will not be responsible for any after-hours work communication.
  • Uphold all Origins Behavioral HealthCare Policies and Procedures.
  • Maintain client/potential client confidentiality in accordance with Origins’ Policy.

Education/Experience/Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Experience in a customer service profession preferred.
  • If in recovery, one (1) years of continuous sobriety preferred.
  • Must produce and maintain a valid driver’s license and pass MVR requirements per policy.
