The Role

The Remote Patient Monitor Technician (RPM Tech) is responsible for onboarding new patients onto the Nudj registry system and for the tracking and reporting of patient device data (Remote Patient Monitoring). Under the supervision of the Chief Clinical Officer, the RPM Tech regularly communicates and provides patient data reports to the Nudj wellness team and the patient’s clinic. The RPM Tech supports patient engagement through follow-up with non-compliant patients and helps troubleshoot device monitoring issues.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Track and monitor patient device data (Remote Patient Monitoring) for flags or alerts and send reports to the patient’s medical team and collaborative care team as required.
  • Onboard new patient data onto Nudj registry system.
  • Communicate with patients through email, phone, or text to encourage device compliance.
  • Assist patients by troubleshooting patient device monitor/reporting issues.
  • Create and provide recurring reports of patient interactions to the medical team and Nudj wellness team, ensuring proper service codes are being assigned.
  • Attend regularly scheduled team meetings and training sessions.

Qualifications:

  • At least 3 years as a Medical Assistant or experience in remote patient monitoring
  • Experience in the medical field (EMRs, medical billing and health data) is preferred
  • Computer savvy - Proficient in Excel and other Office products, and not afraid of new technologies
  • A bright, problem-solving mindset and attention to detail (health care is complex and each patient is unique)
  • Excellent time management, highly organized, and the ability to work independently
  • Strong interest in healthcare
  • Welcomes a team-centric environment, with open feedback and learning
