This position is a remote “Student Support” assignment that runs through 12/31/2022 with the potential for an extension. You will have the option to flex your hours so that you work more during school breaks and less during the school semester.


As a Social Media Student for Global Recruitment, you will undoubtedly gain valuable experience and learn from some of the best as you sit on the “Global Talent Acquisition – Center of Excellence” team.


Your number-one priority will always be helping our team create, publish, and analyze our social media content. We expect you to have quite the appetite for helping create quality content that is aligned to brand guidelines, keeping our social calendar organized, and openly sharing your ideas for improvement with the team. If you desire a career in digital marketing, HR or somewhere in-between, this will be a valuable early career experience.


Who will you work with directly? For starters, you will collaborate heavily with your manager, the Associate Manager of Talent Attraction, as well as the Employer Brand Manager. Beyond them, you will also be partnering with peers across the globe from our recruitment and communication teams, which may require a few video calls outside of normal working hours (so get ready to make friends in new places). Our team works remote 95% of the time, so you’ll fit right into our virtual team meetings no matter where you’re located.


HERE’S A TASTE OF WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING


  • Social Media Management – This is your top priority as you’ll be expected to work on organizing our calendar, responding to messages, reviewing & creating content, and ideating ways to improve our presence. Tools you can work with include Sprinklr, Microsoft programs, Canva, and Adobe Creative Cloud (not necessary, but we have it if you are proficient in Adobe).
  • Talent Attraction Project Support – We’ll likely need your help at times with ongoing efforts related to our ambassador program, inviting employees to record videos about #LifeAtK, photo & video management, etc.
  • Performance Reporting & Social Listening – You can help our team understanding what content is most engaging with our audiences as well as what the perception of Kellogg’s employer brand is through social listening. We already have some dashboards and practices that we can show you once you start!


YOUR RECIPE FOR SUCCESS


Required:

  • Social media content creation and management experience
  • Competent in written communication & time management
  • Currently, a student seeking an undergraduate degree or graduate degree
  • Maintained a grade point average of 2.0 or greater


Bonus Points:
