Engineering Technicians in Sort Test Technology Development (STTD) will be responsible for, but are not limited to:
Perform electrical pneumatic hydraulic, or mechanical troubleshooting to maintain equipment used in the STTD environment and processes.
Provides design of experiments support and equipment support needs in a rapidly changing development and in the STTD environment.
Performs Level 2 and Level 3 preventative maintenance repairs and troubleshooting diagnosis on engineer equipment and Lab duties.
Resolves non-standard problems, works with minimal supervision and can adjust to rapidly changing priorities.
Works with Engineering to support design of experiments, audits, new equipment installations and sustaining and process improvement initiatives.
Additionally in the role judgment and initiatives are required in resolving complex nonstandard problems and developing recommendations.
Candidates must be willing to:
Regularly lift to 25 lbs
Wear closed toe shoes for the duration of shift.
Walk 3-5 miles and stand or site for up to 9 hours within a shift.
Push carts for a distance of a least 500 feet.
Climb and perform work on ladder/s or at heights.
Spend the majority of work time (more than 90 percentage less break time) in the STTD environment working on tool/s sets, processing design of experiments, and standing or sitting for extended periods of time.
Work in the Sort Test Technology Development environment and transition to clean room environment wearing a bunny suit, hood, booties, safety glasses and gloves for the duration of shift (There may be additional safety Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) required (mask, face shield/s, etc.).
Work on a day compressed work week schedule
Shifts are eight hours long, five days week and/or shifts are 10 hours long, four days and/or twelve hours long and rotate from three to four days a week.

This is an entry level position and compensation will be given accordingly. This position is not eligible for Intel immigration sponsorship.
You must possess the below minimum qualification to be initially considered for this position.Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum qualifications and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.Experience listed below would be obtained through schoolwork and/or classes and/or project work and/or military training and/or work experience.
Candidate must possess a GED and/or High School Diploma with 8+ years of direct industry experience, such as Semi-conductor maintenance or Automotive maintenance or Avionics maintenance and/or equivalent military training; or possess an associate's or bachelor's degree non-STEM with 2+ years of direct industry experience, such as Semi-conductor Maintenance or Automotive maintenance or Avionics maintenance and/or equivalent military training; or possess an associate's or bachelor's degree STEM.
Must have the required degree or expect the required degree by May 2022.
6+ months of experience with one or more of the following
Lab knowledge and/or experience.
Electronics and digital circuity.
End-user computer skills and navigation, electronic systems troubleshooting and maintenance.
Testing repairing and troubleshooting faulty electronic equipment down to a component using available schematics, technical data and test equipment.
Interpret complex electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic equipment systems.
Mechanical and/or electrical measuring devices such as multi-meter, oscilloscopes, metrology and calibration equipment.
Linux and Windows based computer operating systems.
Accessing and analyzing data using SQL-Pathfinder, Python, JMP and RCC.
Solid Works, CAD, 3D printing, CNC Milling, Welding metal work.
