AMI’s Manageability Solutions Group provides solutions for out-of-band management of network devices, servers, racks and data centers with or without a BMC, SAN platforms, virtual machines and other devices, from traditional server platforms to telco edge devices.

As an Engineer at AMI, your responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering high quality embedded manageability software stacks for PC and Server platforms
  • Work closely with management, peers and customers to develop requirements for BMC products
  • Developing and testing advanced client and server manageability solutions while working on cutting edge, industry leading products and features
  • Develop software for server manageability product line
  • Design new features, fix customer issues, and improve the performance of the software stack
  • Help to develop documentation (requirements, user guides, release notes) and training material
  • Develop security conscious firmware, source code and threat models

Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience, including:

  • Strong programming experience in C/C++, Python, Lua
  • Hands on experience in Linux application development, Yocto, Device Drivers/Kernel programming with debugging/scripting knowledge
  • Experience with software development for server platforms
  • Git/DevOps, and OpenBMC experience is a plus

Education: BS or MS in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, or related engineering degree
