Servicing Manager

Amres Corporation is hiring a Servicing Manager to be responsible for the oversight and direction of the servicing of all Amres loan products.
Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Responsible for the compliance, accuracy, and efficiency of all mortgage loan servicing functions from new loans set up, to payments processing, escrows administration, ARM adjustments, statements, payoffs, lien releases, and all servicing reporting activities.
- Monitor and manage the subservicer accounts for each loan sold to GSE investors, such as Freddie Mac, Fannie Mae, Ginnie Mae and FHLB.
- Create and maintain systems and processes as needed to ensure loans are serviced in compliance with federal, state, agency and GSE requirements.
- Use department KPI data to better control operating costs and implement updated procedures/policies in order to reach quality targets and service expectations.
- Monitor and escalate past due principal, interest, and fees to ensure that the loan accounting system is accurate.
- Oversee the timely distribution of accurate invoices to clients.
- Read and interpret complex legal credit agreements and related documentation working with attorneys when applicable.
- Ensures that all policies and procedures are adhered to as defined by management.
- Maintain on-going, effective communication with senior management of all lending areas regarding loan servicing and exception issues.
Ideal candidates will meet the following requirements:
- 5+ years of previous experience in the mortgage industry.
- 3+ years of loan servicing experience in residential lending.
- Proficient knowledge of federal regulations, state laws, & GSE requirements.
- Experience in loan servicing operations, default management and loss mitigation procedures.
- Exceptional knowledge of mortgage and consumer lending processes and documentation.
- Experience in interpreting guidelines and regulations impacting servicing of mortgage loans.
- Experience in the following areas: secondary markets, investor reporting, tax service, flood service, home equity loan administration and core loan systems
- Strong communication, organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
