Job Description Summary: As a Software Engineer on the BrainTree Platform team, you will be responsible for design, architecture and implementation of scalable, reliable and available software which pivots the evolution of our current to the next generation platform for our PayPal Inc payments platform teams and transformational journey for payment services and engineering of PayPal Inc (PayPal, Braintree and so on…). You will be making key technology decisions, building & maintaining large production grade distributed systems that handle petabyte scale, providing delightful experience for PayPal and Braintree customers, merchants, brainstorming innovative ideas to help our stakeholders resolve their day-to-day problems, and helping mentor engineers.
