Our location in Scottsdale, AZ, currently has an opportunity for a Sr. Supervisor.  

Provide team leadership in the day-to-day activities for an assigned production area or work group. Supervises manufacturing personnel and responsible for meeting production schedule and product quality requirements. Develops and implements production operational excellence activities, and identifies and executes continuous improvement opportunities in production processes, plans, tasks, and solutions.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Plan resources to meet daily production schedule and produce quality products.

  • Manages major projects; coordinates multiple tasks, and participates in cross functional teams

  • Monitors processes to determine actions that assure costs, productivity, yields, lead time, service level, and inventory control activities are in line with business goals.

  • Manages exempt and non-exempt employees; provides continuous feedback and performs employee year-end evaluations.

  • Responsible for implementing and maintaining the effectiveness of the Quality System.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE YOU’LL BRING

Required

  • Bachelors Degree in Science, Engineering, or related field or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.

  • Minimum 5 years of Manufacturing and/or operational experience to develop the competence to meet the skills and responsibilities of the position.

  • Experience with Lean Six Sigma and continuous improvement processes

  • Knowledge of manufacturing planning, documentation systems.

  • Ability or aptitude to work on problems that are complex in scope where analysis of situations or data involves multiple competing priorities.

  • Candidates/incumbents should possess the following: ability to motivate, direct and provide technical knowledge and mentoring to staff.

  • Ability to work cross-functionally; knowledge of operations, standards and documentation.

  • Ability and aptitude to use various types of databases and other computer software.

  • Strong organizational and project management skills.

  • Ability to form and develop interpersonal, professional relationships; display socially and professionally appropriate behavior.

  • Ability to quickly gain knowledge, understanding or skills and is willing to learn.

Preferred

  • Experience in a federally regulated environment preferred; knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and quality standards preferred.
