Lawrence & Associates (L&A) is seeking a qualified and technically-minded individual to join our multi-disciplinary team at L&A for a staff-level entry-level civil engineering (CE) and/or project manager (PM) position. This position is for a journeyman level CE/PM, who with limited supervision can independently complete design and project management assignments. L&A provides complete start-to-finish engineering services for many industrial sectors, including the solid-waste industry, from conceptual design and evaluation, to design (grading design, civil design, and limited mechanical design), regulatory permitting, and ultimately construction and long-term monitoring (where applicable).

The ideal candidate will have strong communication and writing skills and must be licensed as an engineer in California (for either CE or PM), have more than 4-years’ experience in civil engineering or project management, and be looking to be part of a growing team of professionals providing excellent design and project management to their Clients. Project management experience should be related to civil-related design, permitting, or construction projects which may include site grading, underground utility, permitting (CEQA, NPDES, local planning and/or building).

At L&A, staff level Civil Engineers and Project Managers work on a variety of projects under senior engineers and geologists that help build a broad base of experience for their professional career. We work closely across engineering disciplines to draw upon the experience and resources of professionals in the firm.

This is an immediate full-time position at our office in Shasta Lake, California. Pay will be based on qualifications and experience, estimated range $6,240 to $7,800/month.
