SUMMARY

Performs and manages all functions regarding Stores Inventory — to include Shipping, Receiving, Warehousing and all aspects of Inventory Control Provides leadership at all levels of the organization and communicates effectively with the team and aims towards goals including EBIT and Operating Working Capital.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Manage Henderson’s Warehouse, Inventory Control and Logistics team, comprised of 6-10 direct reports

Must have experience to manage a warehouse crew, as well as effectively delegating tasks and responsibilities to direct reports

Manage Stores/Warehouse Inventory including delivery, storage, identification, and inventory usage of material.

Key player in providing management guidance on market conditions and advice on inventory and purchasing strategies.

Strive to ensure proper materials mix is utilized commensurate with market conditions; global market shortages; and logistical limitations.

Build and manage relationships with TIMET’s suppliers.

Ensure accurate and timely receipt of all incoming materials

Manage all functional aspects of receiving, storing, and accurate accounting of materials inventory.

Collect, analyze, and maintain material usage statistics at the Henderson level

Responsible for managing non-conforming; unidentified; and suspect or quarantined materials to ensure timely disposition of non-conforming material.

Working with Quality and Procurement to ensure conformance to TIMET’s quality standards and requirements.

Responsible for coordinating, organizing, and reconciling ALL Physical Inventories to include Daily Cycle Counts; Quarterly and Yearend Physical Inventories from start to finish — with a goal to achieve 98% inventory accuracy.

Responsible for coordinating Physical Inventory results and reconciliation with the Accounting department.

Responsible for identifying and performing Root Cause Analysis on material inventory Variances; and implementing corrective action for material dollar variances

Responsible for writing/creating Policies and Procedures, as necessary, to ensure accurate accountability of inventory

Work with both suppliers and Purchasing to ensure accuracy of Stores Inventory Purchase Orders Ensure that all Materials stored in the warehouse are properly tracked and labeled with RFID

Assist in design and layout of all warehouse locations

Responsible for Inventory Organization with an eye towards 6S principles; Lean Methodologies; and Continuous Improvement.

Analyze Critical Parts and High Usage items in order to ensure that accurate Planning Parameters are properly set in SAP for Min/Max Replenishment

Create and Maintain Min/Max Planning of TIMET Material Numbers

Propose the issuance of Blanket Purchase Orders for high usage parts or critical parts with long lead times (Note: Stores Manager may be asked to issue certain Blanket Orders themselves

Responsible for strict enforcement of Inventory Control and Security

Implement and maintain a RFID labeling and tracking system for all Inventory owned by the Warehouse

Ensure that all Materials stored in the warehouse are properly tracked and labeled with RFID

Create processes and procedures for ensuring all capitalized Material Numbers are properly issued from the Warehouse to requisitioners

Ensure that no materials enter or leave the Warehouse without proper transactions

Ensure that all materials stored in a Warehouse location are properly secured at all times

Responsible for facilitating all ICR’s (new part number creation)

Collaborate with Accounting and Purchasing on Purchasing and Disbursement Units of Measure

Responsible for coordinating “all” materials and/or assets sent out for Outside Processing; Repair; and/or Refurbishment to properly ensure Inventory Valuation

Ensure that materials are relieved from Inventory, and transacted to an Outside Vendor location in SAP

Responsible for cleanliness and organization of the warehouse

Responsible for controlling, identifying, and tracking scrap metals or other materials for sale to outside vendors

Responsible for ensuring that Asset tags are affixed to all Critical items valued at $5K or greater, and reporting those to Accounting

Responsible for continuous improvement to meet the standards of a world class warehouse

Must be able to work with minimal supervision

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Assist other areas with purchasing needs as required

Perform Quality Assurance Audits and assist with Plant 6S and ZDP objectives at all levels.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

BS or BA degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics or other related field — required. (Extensive background in this field and number of years of experience may substitute for degree).

Extensive knowledge of SAP modules for Purchasing, Planning and Inventory — required.

Minimum of 5 years in same or similar role — required.

Minimum of 5 years of management experience — required.
