JOB TITLE: Senior Analyst, Supply Planning SMU (TNF)

The Senior Analyst, Supply Planning SMU (TNF) is responsible for creating production plans for Special Make Up (SMU) product based on forecasted business demands and inventory guidelines. This role is also responsible for on time, full service delivery to meet customer and distribution channel expectations. To do so this individual is expected to work closely with other team members and cross functional partners. This individual will also manage and participate in regional and global supply chain projects with a focus on driving process improvement and efficiency within the supply chain organization.

How You Will Make a Difference:

  • Manage all Special Make Up (SMU) supply orders to ensure on time, high level of service delivery.
  • Execute steps to issue, confirm and track orders. Proactively identify, escalate, and resolve delays with or to cross-functional partners and leadership. Support the development of the time and action calendars to deliver SMUs.
  • Recommend product purchases based on demand inputs and other crucial supply planning criteria (current inventory levels, capacity, and buy readiness). Issue purchase requisitions to Global Sourcing Teams.
  • Track conversion of purchase requisitions to vendor purchase orders while managing MOQ, surcharge and liability decisions.
  • Continually monitor demand needs and supply timing to identify issues and opportunities.
  • Closely partner with cross functional stakeholders to ensure delivery of financial objectives.
  • Partner cross-functionally to ensure changes to product or orders are processed in a timely manner.
  • Participate in monthly S&OP process by highlighting to senior leadership issues and opportunities to drive improved supply chain operational performance and achieve business objectives.
  • Participate in longer term view of supply availability taking into consideration demand needs by product type and any potential capacity or material constraints.
  • Participate in key projects to evolve supply chain capabilities.
  • Perform ad hoc analysis and reporting as required.
  • Key partners include Global Sourcing, Logistics, Demand Planning, Finance, Retail Buyers, Product Teams and Customer Service.

Skills for Success:

Years of Related Professional Experience: 3+ years

Educational/ Position Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from four-year college or university (preferred concentration in Engineering, Supply Chain or Business Management)
  • At least 3 years of applicable planning or supply chain operations experience
  • APICS or Six-Sigma Certifications are a plus
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to understand, assess, & problem solve by leveraging technical and analytical skills
  • Ability to work effectively within a cross-functional team environment
  • Proven ability to multi-task effectively
  • Project management and presentation skills
  • Advanced Excel Skills (pivot tables, macros)
  • Understanding of reporting tools (Cognos/Brio)
  • Experience in project planning and implementation
  • Self-starter with excellent follow through
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • SAP experience a plus

Special Physical and/or Mental Requirements:

  • Up to 5% travel expected

Salary Range :

$73,440.00 USD – $110,160.00 USD annually
