EmergyCare’s mission is to save lives and positively impact health, well-being and safety in the communities we serve.

In coordination with the Director of Community Development, this position is responsible for the planning, implementation and tracking of outreach strategies. This role is primarily responsible for connecting people in the broader community by creating sponsorship agreements and cultivating relationships with businesses, individuals and other relevant organizations to build a fundraising program to support the mission of EmergyCare.

The Community Engagement Coordinator will have special emphasis on fundraising programs related to annual fund development and growth, major gifts, special events, sponsorship and endowment building.

The incumbent must have superior communication skills to effectively interact with all of the following: donors, board members, administrative and operational staff within the organizational structure, members of the general public, prospects, elected officials, business and industry leaders and private and governmental agencies relating to EmergyCare.

The incumbent must exercise tact and diplomacy in dealing with all such individuals in a manner which will assure a favorable impression of EmergyCare.

The successful candidate should be self-motivated, enthusiastic and community driven. This position requires someone equipped with a positive attitude and readiness to be a team player.

Required Qualifications:

· Must have a minimum of a Bachelors’ degree in Communications, marketing, business or similar field.

· 3-5 years’ experience within non-profit fundraising or outreach activities.

· Strong presentation skills and excellent written/verbal communication skills.

· Ability to travel 40% of the time for meetings, seminars and out-of-office appointments.

· Must be detail oriented with ability to manage multiple projects at a time.

· Must be able to meet established project timelines and financial goals.

· Ability to pass post offer drug test and background/criminal history check.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

· Current driver's license required.

· CFRE preferred.
