We are hiring a VA to work with Alpine Virtual as a subcontractor. You will be helping our client in EST for 30 hours per week.

ABOUT US:

I have been a virtual assistant for ten years and I started Alpine Virtual 3 years ago. We currently have a team of 20 VAs across the United States with a variety of different skillsets and expertise. I’m very passionate about providing our clients quality work but also providing our team members with quality clients. Our VAs are always here to help each other by answering questions or providing encouragement over Slack. I’m personally here to provide resources to you as well. We are passionate about your success in your role. We hire admin VAs, creative VAs (think copywriting and social media management), and VAs who do both creative and admin work.

ROLE/SCOPE:

  • Provide executive leadership with extensive and continuous calendar management, domestic and international travel management, expense management, event registrations and detailed meeting plan management, and all other executive support, prioritizing the most sensitive matters.
  • Act as representative of executive leadership regarding internal and external relations and correspondences and screening communications and meetings.
  • Coordination of meetings, creating PowerPoint presentations, coordinating monthly reporting, use of Excel spreadsheets and ordering equipment, etc.
  • Arrange on- and off-site meetings, events, appointments & travel for leadership, board and investors, with supporting materials as needed.
  • Ensure that executive leadership is informed of priorities, deadlines and challenges. Assist executive leadership in tracking key operational metrics by organizing and compiling data, researching facts, and coordinating information retrieval
  • Providing administrative assistance, such as writing and editing e-mails, drafting memos, and preparing communications on the executive’s behalf
  • Maintaining comprehensive and accurate records
  • Performing minor accounting duties
  • Organizing meetings, including scheduling, sending reminders, and organizing catering when necessary

AVAILABILITY & LOGISTICS

  • We’re U.S.-based and our clients typically need the most support within business hours (Monday to Friday 9 AM - 5 PM EST).
  • The position is starting very part-time but your hours will grow (sometimes very quickly)! Pay will start at $18.50 per hour.
  • All work can be done remotely.
  • This position will be a subcontractor role. We are looking to build a long-term relationship with the right person.
  • Primary communication will take place over text, email, Slack, and Zoom.

THIS MIGHT BE THE PERFECT POSITION FOR YOU IF:

  • You are U.S.-based.
  • You have availability from 9-5 in EST.
  • You have at least three years of previous experience as an admin, executive assistant, virtual assistant, or social media manager.
  • You focus on solutions and are a natural problem solver.
  • You love planning, organizing, and systems.
  • You value the importance of communication.
  • You have strong writing and proofreading skills.
  • You have a keen eye for detail but are also able to see the big picture.
  • You are reliable and always on top of your tasks (and your time).
  • You work independently and don’t require prompts.
  • You’re organized and are keenly aware of all the small details.
  • You seek to make things better. Whether it’s improving the efficiency of systems or catching typos -- you’re always on the lookout!
  • You have a creative side and like creating (basic) graphics on Canva. (Not for every role!)
  • You know and understand social media, specifically Facebook and Instagram. (Again, not for every role. Just for the creatives out there.)
